ABOUT us

Why we matter

Sustainability

Fashion is one of the most polluting industries out there. Buying secondhand is one of the best ways to lower your carbon footprint and slow down this escalating production demand.

Local community

Empower the community around you. Exchanging goods locally not only decreases carbon emissions, but it also helps strengthen local economies.

Trust

We want to be a brand that you can trust. The fashion industry has major flaws, we all know that. That is why we are committed to being as transparent as we can about all of our strengths as well as our weaknesses.

Circular Economy

Let's keep clothing in a loop. Mend when it's worn down and redistribute if it's no longer in use. Simply throwing things away is no longer an option we can afford.

Hi

👋 We're NextBest

Our mission is to make fashion more sustainable.

With over 92 millions tons of clothing waste going into landfills every single year, and 72 gallons of water being utilized just for 1 pair of jeans, fashion is one of the highest polluting industries. That's where we come in. We want to lead the sustainable fashion revolution by encouraging communities to be more conscious, resourceful, and sustainable.

"When I was moving out of my freshman dorm in college, I noticed that there were bags and bags of perfectly good clothes and other dorm room items piling up in the hallway because the trash chute was backed up. The closest thrift store was a 15 minute drive away, and I remember telling myself in that moment that I was going to do something about the amount of waste our society produces.

I decided I wanted to start with the fashion industry."
